Banbury Waxwings 15th Dec

7 Waxwings still at Cedar Close at 2.45p.m
(per R.B.A)

Goosanders
Boddington Reservoir is still 98% frozen but despite this the Goosander flock
had increased to 35 today. Also of note a Kingfisher perched over the outflow
stream at the south end. Wormleighton Reservoir however is 100% frozen with nil
wildfowl.

  1. Jason just to let you know Boddington is Northamptonshire and Wormlieghton is Warkwicshire ;-)

  2. To expand on what Gareth has said, Banburybirds email group has been set up through the Banbury Ornithological Society, and their recording area stretches across the three counties. So a few records on there may be out of county.
