Leucistic Starling Abingdon

This leucistic Starling has been sporadically visiting my garden near the Abbey Fishponds reserve on Radley Road, Abingdon since October 2008. Such a striking bird must surely have been seen by other birders and it would be interesting to know what area it and its associated flock forage over.

  1. I don't think it's been seen around
    Radley G.P's?

  2. We saw this, or a similar bird in our garden on numberous occasions during the winter of 2009-10 but only once this winter - early December 2010. As we live on Hamble Drive it could be the same one or a member of the same family group. Maybe it has moved to the Radley Road area.
