We will have to wait and see (if at all) what this bird was. There has only been one record of Lesser Grey in Oxon and that was a bird on 17th June 1978 at Standlake and accepted by the RBC. Whereas Great Grey is virtually an annual winter visitor albeit in 1’s or 2’s. The last record in Cholsey of Great Grey was at Cholsey Marsh in Jan 2013. So a look at the photo would be really appreciated.
