Northmoor: 24th March

Jack Snipe: Been checking site periodically for weeks. Jack at last classic nearly stood on it.
17 Snipe
Curlew: Calling from somewhere between village snipe field and new bridge.
34 Meadow Pipit: In flooded snipe fields. Loose flock. Migrants as none here all winter.
Bring on the white wags!
