There is a White Stork in the field on the opposite side of the Thames from the Waterfront Cafe
at Benson. SU 611915 until c16:45 when it flew N/W.
It was Colour-ringed in Poland in 2011 then brought to the UK after sustaining an injury, this bird along with at least one other escaped from a Norfolk rehabilitation centre.
A couple of pics of the White Stork at Benson/Shillingford this afternoon and presumably the same bird was photographed circling over Cholsey yesterday
