Woodeaton: 22nd April

Woodeaton
Probable Willow Warbler: An aberrant "song-switching" singer with chiffchaff and willow warbler phrases, always starting with a very distinctive intro motif, sometimes very reminiscent of pied flycatcher song. https://www.xeno-canto.org/641560 https://www.xeno-canto.org/641559 Looked and otherwise behaved like a normal willow warbler. . 1. Similar one near Wantage last week - although it was only temporary and then went into standard WW mode.
There are a few phrases from your bird that are quite Iberian Chiff-like, but it's clearly a WW.
