40 Pintail: Visibility very poor. Presumed under count as nearly all males, females hard to discern in gloom. Shoveler courting in front of hide, including calls.tea mallards in shallows. 22:28.
2 Blackcap: Two males, together in bushes Langley Lane. With goldcrest and flock of mixed winter thrushes. 22:28.
