Res remained shrouded in mist all the time i was there and the surrounding hedges and fields were very much in the icy grip of winter.
Water Rail - 2 (1 pinkhill, 1 buckthorn meadow)
Smew - redhead (west side of F2)
Goosander - 3 redheads on the Thames
Pochard - 41
Goldeneye - approx 30
White Fronted Goose - 1 (fields by Thames - anyone have opinions on the origins of this bird?)
Sanderling - 1
Dunlin - 2
Redshank - 3
Common Sand - 1
Fieldfare and Redwing - many many around Pinkhill / Shrike Meadow.
Kingfisher -1
