Standlake Pit 60
165 Lapwing: Approx count. All in a single flock whiffled down to land. Several left in small groups over time. Golden plover mixed in but didn't land. Apologies for late post.
65 Golden Plover: Approximate count. Flew in with lapwings but the plover didn't land. Spent a few minutes circling pit before leaving SW.
2 Snipe: No Jack.
2 Water Rail: Minimum count as 2 seen on South shore. Others heard.
